November 29, 2008 - Mercer Lioness Christmas Bazaar at the Mercer Community Center. 9AM-2PM. Craft & Bake sales, raffles of baskets full of goodies, soup, chili, BBQ's, Hot Dogs, & Beverages. February 14-15, 2008 - Regional Sno-Cross Races in Mercer just 2 miles north of Mercer.

January 3-4, 2009 - Iron County Stormy Kromer Pursuit. Ski Saturday in Montreal and Sunday in Mercer on the MECCA trail.

February 28, 2009 Turtle Flambeau Flowage Association Ice Fishing Jamboree at Donner's Bay Resort. Cash prizes for the largest fish caught in several categories. Food and beverages, raffles, and prizes.
